Introduction – Paris:

Paris the City of Monument, is the largest city as well as the capital of France situated on the river Seine with an estimated population of 2,193,031 and its metropolitan area has a population of 11,836,970 according to the census of January 2007 and is surely the most populated metropolitan area in Europe.

Paris is marked as one of the world’s major global city due to its cultural centers and leading businesses, the influence of education, politics, entertainment, fashion, media, science & arts has contributed to a vast extinct to achieve this status.

Tourist Attractions:
When it comes to the tourist attraction Disney land Paris is worth mentioning, it is similar as the theme parks located in Orlando and Anaheim. Disney land Paris is situated on the outskirts of the city and is divided in: Main Street, USA, Frontier Land, Adventure land, Fantasy Land and Discovery Land. Tourists with children can enjoy a short trip to Disney land Paris. It is located just about 32 kilometers east of Paris and can easily be reached by a RER Line which takes only about 40 minutes to reach the destination.

Another worth mentioning tourist attraction is The Parc de Monceau, an English style garden with statues, windy pathways and some Corinthian Pillars and is located outside the central Paris.

Entertainment and performing arts:

Opera Garnier and Modern Opera Bastille are the two largest Opera which were built in nineteenth century, this tends towards the more classical ballets and operas and the later one provides a mixture of classic and modern.

Theaters have traditionally occupied a big place in Parisian culture and still today many of its popular actors are the star of French TV. Some of the major theaters of Paris are Bobino, Theater de la Gaîté-Montparnasse and Theater Mogador. Many of these Parisian theaters have doubled as concert halls!
