Rome is the most populated city of Italy and it is also the capital. It is sometimes also known as Roma and is a popular attraction place for tourists. It is situated in the west central Italian Peninsula (a small island but still connected to some land) near the River Tiber. It has a vast history and was also home to the Roman Empire and rules such as Julius Caesar and Alexander who had ruled this land making it one of the most important places in the middle century.
